Fall Nature Guided Walking Tour

October 1st (8:30 AM-10:30 AM) – Independence Lake County Park, Whitmore Lake, MI (park pass/fee may be required)
We will meet at the Beach Center Pavilion at the far end of the park at 8:30 AM (arrive early for coffee and donuts). Faye Stoner, Washtenaw County Park Naturalist will guide us on a tranquil interactive experience with the local flora and birds and the changing seasonal colors. Distance will include .83 miles or up to 3 miles with options for participants to end early. Trails include paved and wide mowed grass along varied habitats including open lake, wetlands, prairie and forest.
